Future City Summit and
Good City Foundation

With the development of Future City Summit, a multiple streams of development programs and projects spin off as the quality actionable agenda of the Summit, including Development Program Series “Public Private Partnership by Youth”, Emerging Future Cities Network and Pandemic Webinar Series “City and The Cities”.

Good City Foundation was established in November 2019 as part of the development agenda of Emerging Future Cities Network. This accommodates a larger scope of socio-economic impact and provides specific and precise development means to identified emerging cities in Asia.

ASEAN Smart Cities Network E-Forum

With the efforts and development of the Future City Summit and subsequently Good City Foundation, the team was invited by the ASEAN Smart Cities Network E-Forum to participate in the private sector committee on behalf of Thailand and Hong Kong during the chairmanship of ASEAN of Vietnam in 2020, as a milestone result of Urban Innovation Forum in November 2019, organised with World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization(WeGO) and UN-Habitat.

The E-Forum is a consortium of private sectors including Grab, ABB and PwC to deliver actionable agenda and plans for crowding in private sectors, corporates, and institutional investors in Southeast Asia and Asia to advocate impact investing and project financing with alternative means to support the movement of smart cities.

In 2020, Future City Summit team ispreparing to echo this by launching big urban data projects for 2nd tier cities as alternative city benchmarking schemes, as part of the Post-Pandemic Recovery Agenda, to be released in Future City Summit Annual Meet 2020.
